These Regulations amend the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (S.I. 2003/2426) (the “2003 Regulations”) so as to prohibit direct marketing in relation to occupational or personal pension schemes (“pensions cold calling”).

This Order designates certain primary schools, in England, as rural primary schools for the purpose of section 15 of the Education and Inspections Act 2006. It also revokes the Designation of Rural Primary Schools (England) Order 2017.

Section 3(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 requires the Office for Students (“the OfS”) to establish and maintain a register of English higher education providers. Section 3(2) of that Act provides that the register may be divided by the OfS into different parts representing different categories of registration. The OfS has decided to divide the register into two parts: ‘Approved’ and ‘Approved (fee cap)’.
