The Environment (Miscellaneous Amendments and Revocations) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019
These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (“the 2018 Act”) in order to address failures of EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a), (d) and (g) of the 2018 Act) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Chemical Weapons (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019
These Regulations are made under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (c.13) to establish a sanctions regime for the purpose of discouraging the proliferation and use of chemical weapons. Following the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union, these Regulations replace the EU sanctions regime concerning restrictive measures against the proliferation and use of chemical weapons, implemented via an EU Council Decision and Regulation.
