The International Accounting Standards and European Public Limited-Liability Company (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. In particular, these Regulations address deficiencies under paragraphs (b), (d) and (g) of section 8(2) of the Act and transfer functions under section 8(6) of the Act. The Regulations make provision in the field of the adoption and use of international accounting standards.

The Train Driving Licences and Certificates (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in section 8(1) and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c.16) (“the Withdrawal Act”) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under 8(2)(a), (b), (c), (d) and (g)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Veterinary Medicines and Animals and Animal Products (Examination of Residues and Maximum Residue Limits) (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a), (b), (c), (d) and (g) of that Act) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. In addition, Part 2 of these Regulations updates references to EU legislation in the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013 (S.I. 2013/2033).

The Dogger Bank Teesside A and B Offshore Wind Farm (Amendment) Order 2019

This Order amends the Dogger Bank Teesside A and B Offshore Wind Farm Order 2015, a development consent order under the Planning Act 2008, following an application made in accordance with the Infrastructure Planning (Changes to, and Revocation of, Development Consent Orders) Regulations 2011 for a non-material change under paragraph 2 of Schedule 6 to the Planning Act 2008. This Order increases the permitted generating capacity to 1.4GW and the diameter of the blades on individual wind generators, alters the use of monopoles in Work No. 1B and imposes a requirement concerning the Southern North Sea Special Area of Conservation.

The Detergents (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (“the 2018 Act”) in order to address failures of retained EU law relating to detergents to operate effectively and other deficiencies (including those set out in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d) and (g) of section 8(2) of the 2018 Act which apply to this instrument) arising from the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union. They also restate retained EU law in a clearer and more accessible way (see paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to the 2018 Act).

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (“the 2018 Act”) in order to address failures of retained EU law relating to detergents to operate effectively and other deficiencies (including those set out in paragraphs (b), (d) and (g) of section 8(2) of the 2018 Act which apply to this instrument) arising from the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union.
