This Order, made in consequence of a determination by the North East Combined Authority in accordance with paragraph 2, Schedule 14 of the River Tyne (Tunnels) Order 2005, increases the maximum toll for use of the Tyne Tunnels by cars and most minibuses and light goods vehicles from £1.70 to £1.80 maximum toll for heavy goods vehicles, large buses and large vans from £3.40 to £3.60.
