The Architects Act 1997 (Swiss Qualifications) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular, the deficiencies under paragraphs (c), (d), and (e) of section 8(2)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. They are also made under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in part to amend domestic legislation.

The National Health Service Commissioning Board and Clinical Commissioning Groups (Responsibilities and Standing Rules) Regulations 2012 (S.I. 2012/2996) (“Standing Rules”) makes provision for, amongst other things, NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS funded nursing care.

The Syria (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (c.13) to establish a sanctions regime in relation to Syria for the purpose of encouraging the Syrian regime to refrain from actions, policies or activities which repress the civilian population in Syria and to participate in negotiations in good faith to reach a negotiated political settlement to bring about a peaceful solution to the conflict in Syria. Following the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union, these Regulations replace the EU sanctions regime concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Syria, implemented via an EU Council Decision and Regulation.

The Rural Affairs (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Wales) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Materion Gwledig (Diwygiadau Amrywiol) (Cymru) 2019

These Regulations make amendments to the Common Agricultural Policy Non-IACS Support Schemes (Appeals) (Wales) Regulations 2004 (“the 2004 Regulations”) and the Trade in Animals and Related Products (Wales) Regulations 2011 (“the 2011 Regulations”) in exercise of powers in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 (c. 68).
