The Utilities Act 2000 (Amendment of Section 105) Order 2019

Section 105 of the Utilities Act 2000 provides a general restriction on the disclosure of certain information, subject to a number of specified exceptions. This Order amends that provision to allow for disclosure for the purpose of facilitating the performance of any function of the Authority under the Domestic Gas and Electricity (Tariff Cap) Act 2018 (c. 21). The Authority means the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority.

The Electricity (Individual Exemptions from the Requirement for a Generation Licence) Order 2019

Article 3 of this Order grants exemptions from the requirements of section 4(1)(a) of the Electricity Act 1989 (which prohibits the generation of electricity for supply to any premises without a licence) in relation to two electricity generating stations in Great Britain.
