The Hazardous Waste (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Gwastraff Peryglus (Cymru) (Diwygio) 2019

These Regulations amend the Hazardous Waste (Wales) Regulations 2005 (S.I. 2005/1806 (W. 138)) (“the 2005 Regulations”) in order to supplement Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 of the European Parliament and of the Council on persistent organic pollutants (recast) (OJ No. L 169, 25.6.2019, p. 45).

The Power to Award Degrees etc. (BPP University Limited) Order of Council 2013 (Amendment) Order 2019

This Order, made under section 45(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017, provides for a variation of the Power to Award Degrees etc. (BPP University Limited) Order of Council 2013, so that BPP University Limited’s existing Degree Awarding Powers authorisation remain valid until 31st August 2020. This Order will come into force on 1st September 2019.

The Oxford (Electoral Changes) Order 2019

This Order makes changes to electoral arrangements for the city of Oxford following recommendations made by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England. The area of the city remains unchanged. The changes made by this Order apply in respect of local government elections held on and after the ordinary day of election of councillors in England in 2020.

The Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Specified Scottish Authority and Barred Lists) Order 2019

This Order is made under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (c. 47) (“the 2006 Act”). A person included in a specified children’s or adults’ list maintained by the Disclosure and Barring Service will be barred under the 2006 Act from regulated activity relating to the relevant group.
