This Order designates the area described in the Schedule to this Order as a civil enforcement area for parking contraventions and a special enforcement area for the purpose of Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004. This Order enables Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council to enforce parking contraventions within the area described in the Schedule to this Order through a civil law regime, as opposed to enforcement by police or traffic wardens in a criminal law context.
