The Employment Rights (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) (EU Exit) (No. 2) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of, and Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal Act) 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under paragraphs (a) and (g) of section 8(2) of that Act) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Value Added Tax (Miscellaneous Amendments, Revocation and Transitional Provisions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in sections 51(1)(a), 52(2) and (5) and 56(1) and (4) of the Taxation (Cross-border Trade) Act 2018 (c. 22) (“TCTA”) and section 16A(1), (2)(b) and (4) of the Value Added Tax Act 1994 (c. 23) (“VATA”) in consequence of, or otherwise in connection with, the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU.
