The Value Added Tax (Accounting Procedures for Import VAT for VAT Registered Persons and Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the power in sections 51(1)(a), 52(2) and 56(1) of the Taxation (Cross-border Trade Act 2018 (c. 22) (“TCTA 2018”) in consequence of, or otherwise in connection with, the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union and in consequence of TCTA 2018. They are to come into force on such day as the Treasury by regulations may appoint.

The Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 (Amendment) Order 2019

This Order amends section 5 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 (c. 12) to add Transport for Greater Manchester to the list of persons and organisations which can make an application for an injunction under section 1 of that Act. The list already includes Transport for London.

The Food for Specific Groups (Information and Compositional Requirements) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Bwyd ar gyfer Grwpiau Penodol (Gofynion o ran Gwybodaeth a Chyfansoddiad) (Diwygio) (Cymru) 2019

These Regulations make provision to enforce, in Wales, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/128 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the specific information and compositional requirements for food for special medical purposes (“the Delegated Regulation”).

Mae’r Rheoliadau hyn yn gwneud darpariaeth i orfodi, yng Nghymru, Reoliad Dirprwyedig y Comisiwn (EU) 2016/128 sy’n ychwanegu at Reoliad (EU) Rhif 609/2013 Senedd Ewrop a’r Cyngor ynghylch y gofynion penodol o ran gwybodaeth a chyfansoddiad ar gyfer bwyd at ddibenion meddygol arbennig (“y Rheoliad Dirprwyedig”).

The Technical and Further Education Act 2017 (Commencement No. 5) Regulations 2019

These Regulations bring into force the specified provisions of the Technical and Further Education Act 2017 (c.19) (“the 2017 Act”) on 31st January 2019. These are the fifth commencement regulations made under that Act. Part 4 of, and paragraph 35 of Schedule 1 to, the 2017 Act came into force on the day that Act was passed.

The Food for Specific Groups (Information and Compositional Requirements) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2019

These Regulations make provision to enforce, in England, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/128 supplementing Regulation (EU) No. 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the specific information and compositional requirements for food for special medical purposes (“the Delegated Regulation”). They do this by amending the Food for Specific Groups (Information and Compositional Requirements) (England) Regulations 2016 (S.I. 2016/688) (“the 2016 Regulations”), which make provision to enforce the requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the provisions of food intended for infants and young children, food for special medical purposes, and total diet replacement for weight control (“the EU Regulation”). The EU Regulation sets out the general information and compositional requirements for certain categories of food and the 2016 Regulations provide for the enforcement of those requirements by applying, with modifications, certain provisions of the Food Safety Act 1990. The Delegated Regulation sets out the specific information and compositional requirements for food for special medical purposes.
