The Single European Sky (National Supervisory Authority) (Amendment) Regulations 2018

These Regulations amend Schedule 2 to the Single European Sky (National Supervisory Authority) Regulations 2013 (S.I. 2013/2620) to enable the Civil Aviation Authority to enforce implementing rules for interoperability made under Article 3 of the single European sky interoperability Regulation (No 552/2004) OJ L 96, 31.3.2004, p.26. The list of implementing rules is amended to include amendments and repeals to the existing rules and new implementing rules.

The M4 Motorway (Prince of Wales Bridge) (Temporary Restriction and Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

This Order authorises the temporary restriction of traffic on the eastbound and westbound carriageways of the M4 Motorway over the Prince of Wales Bridge starting on 1st December 2018 to enable works to take place. Article 3 imposes a 50 miles per hour speed limit and restricts vehicles over 2.5 metres in width to the left hand lane. Article 4 authorises overnight closures between 8:00pm and 6:00am.

The Provision of Services (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in sections 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a), 8(2)(c) and 8(3)(a)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Rent Officers (Housing Benefit and Universal Credit Functions) (Amendment) Order 2018

This Order amends the Rent Officers (Housing Benefit Functions) Order 1997 (S.I. 1997/1984), the Rent Officers (Housing Benefit Functions) (Scotland) Order 1997 (S.I. 1997/1995) and the Rent Officers (Universal Credit Functions) Order 2013 (S.I. 2013/382) (“the Orders”) to make changes to the manner in which a local housing allowance is determined.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2018

These Regulations amend the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (Constitution and Functions) and the Health and Social Care Information Centre (Functions) Regulations 2013 (S.I.2013/259) (“the 2013 Regulations”).

The M48 Motorway (Severn Bridge) (Temporary Restriction and Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

This Order authorises the temporary restriction of traffic on the M48 Motorway (Severn Bridge) starting on 1st December 2018 to enable works to take place. Article 3 applies only to the westbound carriageway and imposes a 50 miles per hour speed limit, restricts vehicles over 2.5 metres in width to the left hand lane and prohibits vehicles over 3.25 metres in width from using the Bridge. Article 4 applies to both eastbound and westbound traffic and authorises overnight closures between 8:00pm and 6:00am.
