The Statutory Auditors, Third Country Auditors and International Accounting Standards (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations amend the Statutory Auditors and Third Country Auditors (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/177) (“the Audit SI”), the Accounts and Reports (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/145) and the International Accounting Standards and European Public Limited-Liability Company (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/685) (“the Accounting Standards SI”).

The Heavy Commercial Vehicles in Kent (No. 1) Order 2019

The Heavy Commercial Vehicles in Kent (No. 1) Order 2019, the Heavy Commercial Vehicles in Kent (No. 2) Order 2019 and the Heavy Commercial Vehicles in Kent (No. 3) Order 2019 enable the movement of cross-Channel lorries in Kent to be controlled by regulating access to the road network, conferring new powers on traffic officers to allow for such vehicles to be detected and directed, and making ancillary provision relating to enforcement.

The Human Medicines and Medical Devices (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (“the Withdrawal Act”) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a), (b), (c) and (d) of the Withdrawal Act) arising from the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union.

The Electronic Commerce and Solvency 2 (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in section 8 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union (and in particular, the deficiencies under paragraphs (d) and (g) of section 8(2)), as well as the powers in paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 to that Act and in paragraph 21(b).

The European Parliamentary Elections Etc. (Repeal, Revocation, Amendment and Saving Provisions) (United Kingdom and Gibraltar) (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(1), 23(1) and (6) and 24(3) of, and paragraph 21(b) of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to ensure that legislation concerning the European Parliamentary elections will remain in force long enough for the post-election processes attendant on the holding of the poll on 23 May 2019 to be completed.
