The Sustainable Drainage (Application for Approval Fees) (Wales) Regulations 2018 / Rheoliadau Draenio Cynaliadwy (Cais am Ffioedd Cymeradwyo) (Cymru) 2018

These Regulations make provision for an approving body to charge fees in relation to applications for approval of sustainable drainage systems pursuant to Schedule 3 to the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 (c. 29).

The Sustainable Drainage (Approval and Adoption Procedure) (Wales) Regulations 2018 / Rheoliadau Draenio Cynaliadwy (Gweithdrefn Cymeradwyo a Mabwysiadu) (Cymru) 2018

These Regulations make provision for procedure in relation to the determination by approving bodies, of applications for approval of sustainable drainage systems and for adoption of such drainage systems, in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 (c. 29) (“the Act”).

This Order makes provision in relation to the requirement for approval of, and requests for adoption of, sustainable drainage systems under Schedule 3 to the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 (c. 29) (“the Act”).

The Misuse of Drugs (Amendments) (Cannabis and Licence Fees) (England, Wales and Scotland) Regulations 2018

These Regulations amend the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 (S.I. 2001/3998) (the “2001 Regulations”) and the Misuse of Drugs (Designation) (England, Wales and Scotland) Order 2015 (S.I. 2015/704) (“the 2015 Order”) to allow the wider use of cannabis-based products for medicinal use in humans, essentially for medical purposes. They also amend the Misuse of Drugs (Licence Fees) Regulations 2010 (S.I. 2010/2497) (the “2010 Regulations”) to provide for waiver of licence fees under those Regulations.

The Lambeth College (Designated Institution in Further Education) Order 2018

This Order designates the institution of Lambeth College from 31st January 2019, for the purposes of section 28 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (“the Act”). This designation brings the institution within the further education sector as defined in section 91(3) of the Act. An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.

The Allocation of Housing and Homelessness (Eligibility) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2018

Under sections 160ZA(2) and 185(2) of the Housing Act 1996 (c. 52) (“the 1996 Act”), a person who is subject to immigration control is ineligible for an allocation of housing or for housing assistance unless they come within a class of persons prescribed in regulations by the Secretary of State.

The European Communities (Designation) (No. 2) Order 2018

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, only “designated” Ministers and departments can exercise powers in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 (c.68) to make orders, rules, regulations and schemes. This is one of a series of Orders by which the Ministers and departments are designated for the purposes of section 2(2) in relation to different subject areas.
