The Agricultural Wages (Wales) Order 2018 / Gorchymyn Cyflogau Amaethyddol (Cymru) 2018

This Order revokes and replaces, subject to some changes and a transitional provision, the Agricultural Wages (Wales) Order 2017.

The Scottish Rates of Income Tax (Consequential Amendments) Order 2018

This Order makes consequential amendments to various provisions of income tax legislation following the introduction of a “starter rate” and “intermediate rate” of income tax that will apply to Scottish taxpayers’ non-savings, non-dividend income for the tax year 2018/19. These rates were set by a rate resolution made by the Scottish Parliament on 20th February 2018 in exercise of their power to set rates and thresholds for non-savings non-dividend income provided for in section 80C of the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 26), as amended by the Scotland Act 2016 (c. 11).

The Policing and Crime Act 2017 (Commencement No. 8) Regulations 2018

These Regulations bring into force specified provisions of the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (c. 3) (“the Act”). They are the eighth commencement regulations under the Act. Other provisions of the Act were brought into force on Royal Assent by section 183(5) of the Act or commenced on 31st March 2017 by virtue of section 183(6) of the Act.

The Electronic Communications (Universal Service) (Broadband) Order 2018

This Order is a universal service order in relation to broadband connections and services. It re-implements Article 3 and Article 4(1) and (2) of Directive 2002/22/EC on universal service and users’ rights relating to electronic communications networks and services (O.J. No. L 108, 24.4.2002, p.51), as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC (O.J. No. L 337, 18.12.2009, p.11).

The Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 (Powers of Seizure) Order 2018

Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (OJ No L 326, 08.12.2011, p1) (“REMIT”) imposes obligations and prohibitions in relation to trading in wholesale energy products within the European Union.
