The Animal Feed (Basic Safety Standards) (Wales) Regulations 2018 / Rheoliadau Bwyd Anifeiliaid (Safonau Diogelwch Sylfaenol) (Cymru) 2018

These Regulations transpose in Wales, in relation to animal feed, Article 21 of Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom laying down basic safety standards for protection against the dangers arising from exposure to ionising radiation, and repealing Directives 89/618/Euratom, 90/641/Euratom, 96/29/Euratom, 97/43/Euratom and 2003/122/Euratom (OJ No L 13, 17.1.14, p. 1).

Mae’r Rheoliadau hyn yn trosi yng Nghymru, mewn perthynas â bwyd anifeiliaid, Erthygl 21 o Gyfarwyddeb y Cyngor 2013/59/Euratom sy’n gosod safonau diogelwch sylfaenol ar gyfer amddiffyn rhag y peryglon sy’n deillio o ddod i gysylltiad ag ymbelydredd ïoneiddio, ac sy’n diddymu Cyfarwyddebau 89/618/Euratom, 90/641/Euratom, 96/29/Euratom, 97/43/Euratom a 2003/122/Euratom (OJ Rhif L 13, 17.1.14, t. 1).

The Pension Protection Fund and Occupational Pension Schemes (Levy Ceiling and Compensation Cap) Order 2018

This Order specifies the earnings percentage used to calculate the levy ceiling (article 2), the amount of the levy ceiling (article 3) and the standard amount of the compensation cap (article 4) for use in relation to the Pension Protection Fund in the financial year beginning on 1st April 2018.

The Road Traffic Act 1988 (Motor Racing) (Wales) Regulations 2018 / Rheoliadau Deddf Traffig Ffyrdd 1988 (Rasio Moduron) (Cymru) 2018

These Regulations specify those motor sport governing bodies which are authorised to issue permits under section 12B of the Road Traffic Act 1988 for the purpose of motor racing on public highways in Wales.

Mae’r Rheoliadau hyn yn pennu’r cyrff llywodraethu chwaraeon moduron hynny sydd ag awdurdod i ddyroddi trwyddedau o dan adran 12B o Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd 1988 at ddiben rasio moduron ar briffyrdd cyhoeddus yng Nghymru.

The Asylum Support (Amendment) Regulations 2018

These Regulations amend regulation 10(2) of the Asylum Support Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/704) to provide that the weekly cash payment which may be made by the Secretary of State in respect of the essential living needs of persons to whom the Secretary of State has decided to provide asylum support is increased from £36.95 to £37.75.

The Video Games Tax Relief (Amendment of Tax Advantages in Schedule 24 to the Finance Act 2016) Regulations 2018

These Regulations amend Part 1 of Schedule 24 to the Finance Act 2016 (c. 24) (“FA 2016”) by adding video games tax relief to the list of tax advantages to which section 180(2) of FA 2016 applies. Section 180(2) of FA 2016 enables HM Revenue and Customs (“HMRC”) to collect information about State aids received by beneficiaries in accordance with relevant EU obligations (as defined in section 182(1) of FA 2016) and publish that information (in accordance with section 181 of FA 2016). The provisions relating to video games tax relief are found in Part 15B of the Corporation Tax Act 2009 (c. 4).
