Part 6 of the Transport Act 1968 provides offences and penalties for infringements of Regulation (EC) No. 561/2006 (OJ No L 102, 11.4.2006, p. 1) and the European Agreement concerning the Work of Crews and Vehicles engaged in International Transport of 1st July 1979 (as amended) which both prescribe rules about periods of driving, rests and breaks for drivers of specified vehicles undertaking international carriage of goods and passengers.

These Regulations amend the Schedule to the Immigration Act 2016 (Commencement No. 7 and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017 to correct an erroneous date.

This Order amends the Combined Authorities (Mayoral Elections) Order 2017 (S.I. 2017/67) (the “2017 Order”) which prescribes the rules for the conduct of combined authority mayoral elections.

This Order, which comes into force on 1st February 2018, provides that the Essex Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Fire and Rescue Authority is specified for the purpose of section 33 of the Value Added Tax Act 1994.
