The Midland Metro (Birmingham City Centre Extension, etc.) (Edgbaston Extension Land Acquisition) Order 2019

This Order confers further powers of compulsory acquisition on the West Midlands Combined Authority (“the Executive”) for the purpose of the works authorised by the Midland Metro (Birmingham City Centre Extension, etc.) Order 2005 (“the 2005 Order”). Powers for compulsory acquisition under the 2005 Order expired on 22nd July 2010.

The Geo-Blocking Regulation (Revocation) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular, under paragraph (a) of section 8(2)) arising from the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union.

The River Tyne (Tunnels) (Revision of Tolls) Order 2019

This Order, made in consequence of a determination by the North East Combined Authority in accordance with paragraph 2, Schedule 14 of the River Tyne (Tunnels) Order 2005, increases the maximum toll for use of the Tyne Tunnels by cars and most minibuses and light goods vehicles from £1.70 to £1.80 maximum toll for heavy goods vehicles, large buses and large vans from £3.40 to £3.60.
