The Social Security Coordination (Council Regulation (EEC) No 1408/71 and Council Regulation (EC) No 859/2003) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (the “EU(W)A”) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2) and section 8(3)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Financial Services and Markets (Insolvency) (Amendment of Miscellaneous Enactments) Regulations 2019

These Regulations amend a number of instruments in consequence of the enactment of the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 (S.I. 2016/1024) (“the 2016 Rules”), the Insolvency (Scotland) (Company Voluntary Arrangements and Administration) Rules 2018 (S.I. 2018/1082) and the Insolvency (Scotland) (Receivership and Winding up) Rules 2018 (S.I. 2018/347) (together, “the 2018 Rules”) which came into force on 6th April 2017 and 6th April 2019 respectively. The instruments amended in these Regulations are:

The Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) (Temporary Use in Great Britain) (Amendment) Regulations 2019

These Regulations amend the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) (Temporary Use in Great Britain) Regulations 1996 (“the 1996 Regulations”) to accommodate bilateral international agreements on road transport entered into by the United Kingdom.

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (in particular under section 8(2)(g)) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Local Authorities (Capital Finance and Accounting) (Wales) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Awdurdodau Lleol (Cyllid Cyfalaf a Chyfrifyddu) (Cymru) (Diwygio) (Ymadael â’r UE) 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of, and paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 2 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

Mae’r Rheoliadau hyn wedi eu gwneud drwy arfer y pwerau a roddir gan adran 11 o Ddeddf yr Undeb Ewropeaidd (Ymadael) 2018 a pharagraff 1(1) o Atodlen 2 iddi, er mwyn ymdrin ag unrhyw fethiant yng nghyfraith yr UE a ddargedwir i weithredu’n effeithiol a diffygion eraill sy’n deillio o ymadawiad y Deyrnas Unedig â’r Undeb Ewropeaidd.
