The Social Security Coordination (Regulation (EC) No 883/2004, EEA Agreement and Swiss Agreement) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c.16) (the “EU(W)A”) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2) and section 8(3)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses (Amendment) Regulations 2019

These Regulations amend the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 (the “2003 Regulations”). They make provision to ensure that persons using the services of employment businesses to find work receive a document which sets out clearly and succinctly certain key information concerning their relationship.

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c.16) (the “EU(W)A”) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2) and section 8(3)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Agency Workers (Amendment) Regulations 2019

These Regulations, which are made under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, amend the Agency Workers Regulations 2010 (“the 2010 Regulations”). The 2010 Regulations implement (in England and Wales and Scotland and, in relation to some provisions, also Northern Ireland) Council Directive 2008/104/EC of 19th November 2008 on temporary agency work (OJ L 327, 5.12.2008, p.9). This Directive establishes a general framework for protection of temporary agency workers.

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c.16) (the “EU(W)A”) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2) and section 8(3)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Chemicals (Health and Safety) and Genetically Modified Organisms (Contained Use) (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and the powers conferred by paragraphs 1 and 7 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 21(b) of Schedule 7 to that Act. They make provision under section 8(1) of that Act in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a), (b), (c), (d), (f) and (g) and section 8(3)(a)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. The Regulations make provision under paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 to that Act for the charging of fees by public bodies in the United Kingdom in connection with functions conferred on them as a result of amendments made by these Regulations under section 8(1) of that Act; and they make provision under paragraph 7 of Schedule 4 revoking provision for the charging of fees for the exercise of functions which are removed by amendments made under section 8(1).

The Architects Act 1997 (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union (and in particular, the deficiencies under paragraphs (c), (d), and (e) of section 8(2)).
