These Regulations make various amendments to the Insolvency (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (“the principal Regulations”). The principal Regulations (which, with limited exceptions, come into force on exit day) address deficiencies in retained EU law that will arise from the absence of mutual application of the EU Regulation on insolvency proceedings (Regulation (EU) 2015/848) (“the EUIR”).

This Order amends the Constitution of Anguilla by making clear that certain persons must be British overseas territories citizens to qualify as Anguillians. The amendment is deemed to have taken effect on 14th May 2019, the date on which the Anguilla Constitution (Amendment) Order 2019 came into force.

This Order prescribes units of production for the assessment of the productive capacity of agricultural land situated in England and sets out the amount which is to be regarded as the net annual income from each such unit for the year from 6th January 2020 to 5th January 2021 for certain purposes of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 (“the 1986 Act”).

These Regulations amend the Local Government Pension Scheme (Transitional Provisions, Savings and Amendment) Regulations 2014 (“the Transitional Regulations”) to cover the extension of civil partnership to opposite-sex couples. Regulation 2 amends the Transitional Regulations to provide for the benefits payable to survivors of opposite-sex civil partnerships in respect of service prior to 2014 of a member of the Local Government Pension Schemes preceding the Scheme constituted under the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations 2013.
