The Millbrook Gas Fired Generating Station Order 2019

This Order authorises Millbrook Power Limited (referred to in this Order as the undertaker) to construct, operate and maintain a gas fired electricity generating station. The Order would permit the undertaker to acquire, compulsorily or by agreement, land and rights in land and to use land for this purpose. The Order also makes provision in connection with the maintenance of the new section of highway.

The Animals and Animal Products (Examination for Residues and Maximum Residue Limits) (Wales) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Anifeiliaid a Chynhyrchion Anifeiliaid (Archwilio am Weddillion a Therfynau Gweddillion Uchaf) (Cymru) 2019

These Regulations revoke the statutory instruments listed in the Schedule, consolidating their provisions. The Regulations implement Council Directive 96/22/EC concerning the prohibition on the use in stockfarming of certain substances having a hormonal or thyrostatic action and of beta-agonists, and Council Directive 96/23/EC on measures to monitor certain substances and residues thereof in live animals and animal products, and provide for the execution and enforcement of Regulation (EC) No 470/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down Community procedures for the establishment of residue limits of pharmacologically active substances in foodstuffs of animal origin.

The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Monmouthshire) Designation Order 2019 / Gorchymyn Dynodi Gorfodi Sifil ar Dramgwyddau Parcio (Sir Fynwy) 2019

This Order designates the area described in the Schedule to this Order as a civil enforcement area for parking contraventions and a special enforcement area for the purposes of Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004. This Order enables Monmouthshire County Council to enforce parking contraventions within the area described in the Schedule to this Order through a civil law regime, as opposed to enforcement by police or traffic wardens in a criminal law context.

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn dynodi’r ardal a ddisgrifir yn yr Atodlen i’r Gorchymyn hwn yn ardal gorfodi sifil ar dramgwyddau parcio ac yn ardal gorfodi arbennig at ddibenion Rhan 6 o Ddeddf Rheoli Traffig 2004. The Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order 2019

This Order is made as a consequence of a review under sections 150 and 151A of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 (c. 5) (“the Administration Act”) and includes details of the sums mentioned in those sections. The Order does not deal with the benefits which were frozen by the Welfare Reform and Work Act 2016 (c. 7).

The Counter-Terrorism (International Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (c.13) to establish a sanctions regime to further the prevention of terrorism in the United Kingdom and elsewhere and to implement the United Kingdom’s international obligations under resolution 1373 (2001) adopted by the Security Council of the United Nations on 28th September 2001 (“resolution 1373”).

The Shipments of Radioactive Substances (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (“EUWA”) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(c) of the EUWA) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. The Regulations extend to the whole of the United Kingdom.

The Transport Act 1985 (Amendment) Regulations 2019

These Regulations amend sections 18 to 23 (modification of PSV requirements in relation to vehicles used for certain purposes) of the Transport Act 1985 (“the 1985 Act”) in order to clarify the effect of Regulation (EC) No. 1071/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 establishing common rules concerning the conditions to be complied with to pursue the occupation of road transport operator and repealing Council Directive 96/26/EC (“the 2009 Regulation”).
