The Equine Identification (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Adnabod Ceffylau (Cymru) (Diwygio) 2019

The Equine Identification (Wales) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/57 (W. 20)) (“the Equine Regulations”) supplement and make provision for the enforcement of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/262 laying down rules pursuant to Council Directives 90/427/EEC and 2009/156/EC as regards the methods for the identification of equidae (OJ No L 59, 3.3.2015, p.1) in Wales. Regulation 2 corrects the Equine Regulations to amend one reference to “responsible person” to “owner”.

Mae Rheoliadau Adnabod Ceffylau (Cymru) 2019 (O.S. 2019/57 (Cy. 20)) (“y Rheoliadau Ceffylau”) yn cydategu Rheoliad Gweithredu’r Comisiwn (EU) 2015/262 yn gosod rheolau yn unol â Chyfarwyddebau’r Cyngor 90/427/EEC a 2009/156/EC o ran dulliau adnabod equidae (OJ Rhif L 59, 3.3.2015, t.1) ac yn gwneud darpariaeth ar gyfer gorfodi’r Rheoliad hwnnw, yng Nghymru. Mae rheoliad 2 yn cywiro’r Rheoliadau Ceffylau gan ddiwygio un cyfeiriad at “person cyfrifol” i “perchennog”.
