PACAC launches new inquiry examining the case for comprehensive reform of electoral law
The Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee is launching an inquiry asking how urgently comprehensive electoral reform is required, what should be prioritised, and whether there is a need to go beyond the Law Commission’s proposals outlined in their 2016 interim report.

The Merchant Shipping (Marine Equipment) (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019
These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a) of that Act) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The Sea Fishing (Licences and Notices) (Wales) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Pysgota Môr (Trwyddedau a Hysbysiadau) (Cymru) 2019
These Regulations relate to licences issued in respect of Welsh fishing boats under sections 4 and 4A of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967 (c. 84), and to notices varying, suspending or revoking such licences. They revoke and replace, in relation to such licences and notices, the Sea Fishing (Licences and Notices) Regulations 1994 (S.I. 1994/2813).
Mae’r Rheoliadau hyn yn ymwneud â thrwyddedau a roddir mewn perthynas â chychod pysgota Cymreig o dan adrannau 4 a 4A o Ddeddf Pysgota Môr (Cadwraeth) 1967 (p. 84), ac â hysbysiadau sy’n amrywio, yn atal neu’n dirymu trwyddedau o’r fath. Mewn perthynas â’r trwyddedau a’r hysbysiadau hyn, mae’r Rheoliadau hyn yn dirymu ac yn disodli Rheoliadau Pysgota Môr (Trwyddedau a Hysbysiadau) 1994 (O.S. 1994/2813).
