These Regulations amend the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (c. 69) (“the Act”) in order to implement in Great Britain requirements contained in the Agreement on international humane trapping standards concluded between the European Community, the Government of Canada and the Government of the Russian Federation (“the Agreement”).

These Regulations prescribe the fees to be charged for authenticated copies or extracts from records under the charge of the Keeper of Public Records and for other services afforded by officers of the Public Record Office which exercises its functions as part of The National Archives. The fees listed in the Schedule to these Regulations are exclusive of value added tax.
