The Plant Health (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular the deficiencies referred to in paragraphs (a) to (d) and (g) of section 8(2)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

This Order appoints 8 April 2019 as the day on which the revised Code of Practice on the exercise of social services functions in relation to Part 4 (direct payments and choice of accommodation) and Part 5 (charging and financial assessment) of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 comes into force. This revised Code was issued by the Welsh Ministers under section 145(1) of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 (“the 2014 Act”) on 5 April 2019.

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn penodi 8 Ebrill 2019 fel y diwrnod y daw’r Cod Ymarfer diwygiedig ar arfer swyddogaethau gwasanaethau cymdeithasol mewn perthynas â Rhan 4 (taliadau uniongyrchol a dewis o lety) a Rhan 5 (codi ffioedd ac asesiadau ariannol) o Ddeddf Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Llesiant (Cymru) 2014 i rym. Dyroddwyd y Cod diwygiedig hwn gan Weinidogion Cymru o dan adran 145(1) o Ddeddf Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Llesiant (Cymru) 2014 (“Deddf 2014”) ar 5 Ebrill 2019.

The Qualifications Wales (Monetary Penalties) (Determination of Turnover) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Cymwysterau Cymru (Cosbau Ariannol) (Penderfynu ar Drosiant) 2019

Section 38(1) of the Qualifications Wales Act 2015 (“the Act”) enables Qualifications Wales to impose a monetary penalty on an awarding body that has failed to comply with a condition of its recognition or a condition of approval to which its approved qualification is subject.

Mae adran 38(1) o Ddeddf Cymwysterau Cymru 2015 (“y Ddeddf”) yn galluogi Cymwysterau Cymru i osod cosb ariannol ar gorff dyfarnu sydd wedi methu â chydymffurfio ag un o amodau ei gydnabyddiaeth neu amod cymeradwyo y mae ei gymhwyster a gymeradwywyd yn ddarostyngedig iddo.

The Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 (“the 2018 Act”) establishes the statutory system in Wales for meeting the additional learning needs of children and young people. Part 3 of the 2018 Act continues the Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales and re-names it the Education Tribunal for Wales.

Mae Deddf Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol a’r Tribiwnlys Addysg (Cymru) 2018 (“Deddf 2018”) yn sefydlu’r system statudol yng Nghymru ar gyfer diwallu anghenion dysgu ychwanegol plant a phobl ifanc. Mae Rhan 3 o Ddeddf 2018 yn parhau â Thribiwnlys Anghenion Addysgol Arbennig Cymru ac yn ei ailenwi’n Dribiwnlys Addysg Cymru.
