The Electricity (Offshore Generating Stations) (Safety Zones) (Application Procedures and Control of Access) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2019 / Rheoliadau Trydan (Gorsafoedd Cynhyrchu Alltraeth) (Parthau Diogelwch) (Gweithdrefnau Gwneud Cais a Rheoli Mynediad) (Diwygio) (Cymru) 2019

These Regulations amend the Electricity (Offshore Generating Stations) (Safety Zones) (Application Procedures and Control of Access) Regulations 2007 (S.I. 2007/1948) (“the 2007 Regulations”) as a consequence of section 41 of the Wales Act 2017 (c. 4), which comes into force on 1 April 2019.

Mae’r Rheoliadau hyn yn diwygio Rheoliadau Trydan (Gorsafoedd Cynhyrchu Alltraeth) (Parthau Diogelwch) (Gweithdrefnau Gwneud Cais a Rheoli Mynediad) 2007 (O.S. 2007/1948) (“Rheoliadau 2007”) o ganlyniad i adran 41 o Ddeddf Cymru 2017 (p. 4), sy’n dod i rym ar 1 Ebrill 2019.

The Northern Ireland (Ministerial Appointment Functions) Regulations 2019

Under section 5 of the Northern Ireland (Executive Formation and Exercise of Functions) Act 2018, during the current period while there is no Executive in Northern Ireland, appointment functions conferred on Northern Ireland Ministers may be exercised by a Minister of the Crown in respect of the offices specified in that section. Section 5 also permits further entries to be added to the list of specified offices by regulations.

The Carlisle (Electoral Changes) Order 2019

This Order makes changes to electoral arrangements for the city of Carlisle following recommendations made by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England. The area of the city of Carlisle remains unchanged. The changes made by this Order apply in respect of local government elections held on and after the ordinary day of election of councillors in England in 2019.

The Air Passenger Rights and Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers in section 8(1) of and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) (“the 2018 Act”) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. Regulation 6 contains provision for this purpose made under section 71 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (c. 16). These Regulations also include provision at regulation 5(2) made under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 (c. 68).

The Ship Recycling (Facilities and Requirements for Hazardous Materials on Ships) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under sections 8(2)(a), (d), (g)) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. They also make further limited consequential provision, pursuant to paragraph 21(b) of Schedule 7 of the Act, in order to restate retained EU law in a clearer way.
