Password challenges
Passwords have been in the news again recently. Most notably, on Friday 23 June accounts with weak passwords on the UK Parliamentary network were compromised; however less than 1% of the system’s 9,000 accounts were directly affected. Attention was also drawn this week to router password vulnerabilities, as Virgin Media advised customers with Virgin Super Hub 2 home routers to reset their passwords.
